Moved to Houston recently. The whole family enjoys Chinese food delivery about twice a month.
Kids usually order chicken with broccoli, hubby likes General Tso's chicken, and I usually prefer a mixture of lo mein and fried rice.
A BIG seller for any place, for all of us, is the egg rolls and fried rice.
Unfortunately, China wok falls short with the egg rolls. They use those frozen-type, really yucky, mushy, long skinny kind that you can buy and bake from Sam's Wholesale.
The fried rice is very good, but the egg rolls...yuck! Enough to keep us from ordering from them again.
However, the veggies were fresh and not over-cooked. The sauces and flavor with the meat and dishes were jam on. If they would do something about the egg roll catastrophe, this would easily be a favorite pick for us...too bad really.
